How it works
Install the agent
One installer per OS (MSI, .deb/.rpm, or a signed tarball) enrolls the endpoint against your IQOps tenant — no manual configuration per machine.
It checks in continuously
Hardware, software, patch state, and security posture flow back on a short interval. The agent self-updates in place, so fleet-wide fixes roll out without a re-install.
You act from one core
Tickets, assets, patch rollouts, and posture findings share the same data model — a posture finding can route straight into a patch job, in the same platform, not a handoff between tools.

IQOps is built agent-first on all three platforms, but depth currently varies — Windows is the most mature target, Linux and macOS cover the operational fundamentals with a few areas still expanding. This is the real, current breakdown, not a marketing claim of full parity.

Remote support and full posture monitoring on Linux, and remote patch deployment and remote support on macOS, are active roadmap items — voice calling on both platforms is on the same roadmap, since it runs inside a remote support session today. Deployment model
The operations core runs on-premises or in your private cloud — your data doesn't leave your infrastructure by default. The agent communicates outbound-only over TLS to your own server; no inbound firewall rules are required on the endpoint.
